Anthony Davis’ Role in Darvin Ham Firing Revealed

Anthony Davis and his obvious distaste for Darvin Ham performed a task in Ham’s dismissal, in keeping with The Athletic’s Sam Amick.

Amick elaborated on the function Davis performed in Ham’s firing throughout a latest look on The Rich Eisen Show.

“When they chose to fire Darvin Ham, I was told that one of the many, many considerations was that it was pretty evident that AD was not on board anymore with Darvin and they know, like everybody else, that AD has a history of having asked for trades in the past,” Amick stated.

“That’s how he got to the Lakers from New Orleans. Last thing they wanted was for AD to be frustrated with the situation and maybe have those types of thoughts cross his mind.”

Amick’s feedback comply with some pointed remarks from Davis after the Lakers’ Game 2 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the primary spherical of the playoffs.

Davis appeared to take a jab at Ham when he stated, “We have stretches where we don’t know what we’re doing on both ends of the floor.”

Ham responded by saying he took Davis’ feedback as an indication of frustration and that he would comply with disagree along with his star massive man.

The Lakers later fired Ham simply days after they have been eradicated from the postseason.

Now, JJ Redick is now thought-about the favourite to take his place, according to The Los Angeles Times.
