Bavuma trends once again after Proteas series defeat to India

Proteas captain Temba Bavuma discovered himself trending once again following Proteas’ series defeat to India on Thursday.

The 33-year-old was rested for the T20I and ODI series towards India, with Aiden Markram taking up as captain.

The Proteas suffered a 78-run defeat within the third and remaining One Day International towards India at Boland Park.

The Proteas misplaced the ODI series 2-1.

Bavuma confronted criticism and abuse from followers after he had a disastrous World Cup marketing campaign which noticed the Proteas eradicated within the semi-finals.

Temba Bavuma was missed towards India, says followers
