Jake White is assured {that a} much-changed Bulls crew can get the job completed.

“If you look at the team, the average age is quite high,” said White.

“I believe it a pleasant balanced group.

“Taking nothing away from Lyon, I know how strong Top 14 rugby is and I know how strong European Cup rugby is, but it’s an opportunity and we have to be clever. Not only in this game but next week as well and the following week and it goes all the way through to the end of January before we get a break during the Six Nations.”

White added: “Every man in our squad appreciates that we do what’s greatest for the crew.

“I sat with the group once I began right here and we decide a crew each week we expect can win, we decide a crew that we really feel must get an opportunity.

“We do what is required for us as a gaggle and what we’d like now isn’t the emotional facet of it.

“Plenty of boys have been working exhausting and wish to play as properly. One factor coaches can do is create hope.

“The ethos of the group is that we want to do what is best for the group and not for the player.”
