The Los Angeles Lakers have made a big addition to their roster with the signing of free agent Christian Wood.
The 27-year-old middle, beforehand performed for the Dallas Mavericks. Last season he averaged 16.6 factors, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.
According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, there are early indications that Wood will primarily come off the bench, with Rui (*20*) probably to begin alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis within the frontcourt.
Wood is expected to play a task of the first backup middle behind Davis, often teaming up with him in two-big lineups. When the staff is at full energy, he’s anticipated to log round 20 minutes per game.
