Damian Lillard Doubles Down on Comments About Possible Blazers Exit

Damian Lillard has been fairly vocal recently about how one thing’s acquired to present on the Blazers as they did not make postseason as soon as once more.

Earlier this week, Lillard hinted at a potential exit if the workforce can’t draft Victor Wembanyama and made it very clear he isn’t keen on a rebuild.

In an interview with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, he once more dropped one other very pointed message to Portland’s entrance workplace.

“It ain’t a threat,” Lillard said. “ I ain’t gonna say I’m placing them on the clock, I’m simply saying if these issues can’t be carried out, (if) we are able to’t do one thing important like that then we gained’t have an opportunity to compete on that degree. Not solely will I’ve a call to make, however I believe the group will too as a result of at that time, it’s like, ‘Are you gonna go young or are we gonna get something done?’

“I believe we simply kinda been on the fence with absolutely committing to both one. I simply assume we at that time now the place all people needs to win. They imagine I deserve that chance.

“I think this is our most important offseason since I’ve been here,” he added.

It seems like Lillard needs to stay in Portland but when they will’t come to the desk with what he needs, then some powerful conversations are going available.

One NBA Insider even urged that Lillard may end up in Philadelphia as they appear to exchange James Harden, who’s rumored to be heading again to Houston.

More to return.
