DeMar DeRozan appeared set to resign with the Bulls, that was till the Josh Giddey-Alex Caruso commerce occurred.
The 34-year-old veteran will develop into a free agent this summer time after three seasons in Chicago.
Just a couple of weeks in the past, DeMar was reportedly able to re-sign with the franchise.
But this week, the Bulls made a shock commerce, dealing Caruso to OKC and touchdown younger guard Giddey and saying goodbye to their finest defender in the method.
This commerce could properly have thrown DeRozan’s plans into disarray, as he now plans to listen to rival provides, C/P’s Brett Siegel experiences.

DeRozan averaged 24 factors, 4.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists for the Bulls in 2023-24 and might be a helpful veteran presence to quite a lot of groups, together with the Lakers, Heat and 76ers.
