Ferrari confirm the arrival of key Mercedes duo Jerome d’Ambrosio and Loic Serra

Ahead of this weekend’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Ferrari has introduced the signing of Loic Serra and Jerome d’Ambrosio, each coming from arch rival, Mercedes.

Loic Serra will tackle the position of Head of Chassis Performance Engineering, reporting to Enrico Cardile, overseeing varied areas in Maranello, together with Track Engineering, Aero Development, Aero Operations and Vehicle Performance.

Serra was born in France in 1972 and has a level in mechanical engineering after learning in Aix-en-Provence and Paris. After college, he labored for Michelin and then the BMW-Sauber and Mercedes AMG Formula 1 groups.
