Formula Vee race series is welcomed by Dunlop

With the motorsport racing season now effectively underway following the opening races of 2023 in February, Dunlop Tyres South Africa has added one other main motorsport championship to its South African racing household. The model is now the official tyre associate of the DOE Formula Vee race series.

Part of the Regional Extreme Festival, DOE Formula Vee has been a profitable South African Racing Formula since 1965, enabling drivers to compete on a nationwide championship degree.

Lubin Ozoux, CEO of Dunlop producer and distributor Sumitomo Rubber South Africa, mentioned the enduring tyre model is delighted to be related to the series.

The Formula Vee racing automobiles are based mostly totally on Volkswagen elements and can race on Dunlop Direzza tyres, with a discipline of 15 to 30 automobiles.
