Gervonta Davis sentenced to 90 days home detention for hit and run

GERVONTA Davis has been sentenced to 90 days home detention in Baltimore and three years probation for a hit and run incident in November 2020.

The Baltimore Banner stories that ‘the fighter must also complete 200 hours of community service and take part in other programs’.

The 28-year-old appeared on the Elijah E. Cummings Courthouse in Baltimore the place Circuit Judge Althea M. Handy presided.

Davis had plead responsible to 4 fees following the incident which injured a pregnant girl and three others. The fees have been as follows: leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily damage, failing to notify of property injury, driving with a revoked licence and working a crimson gentle.

On November 5, 2020, Davis left Medusa Restaurant & Lounge in downtown Baltimore and drove off in a 2020 Lamborghini Urus with a police escort. At round 1.50am Davis drove by way of a crimson gentle and hit the passenger facet of a Toyota Solara. Davis fled the scene after inflicting damage to 4 people together with the pregnant girl named as Jyair Smith.

Last month Davis, who now resides in Parkland, Florida, competed in his highest profile combat to date in opposition to Ryan Garcia on the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
