Proteas wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen has retired from Test cricket having performed solely 4 matches for the nationwide crew.
The 32-year-old was ignored by selectors within the lately concluded two-match Test sequence towards India. The Proteas selectors opted to usher in underperforming Kyle Verreynne.
