The Lakers are decided to land a 3rd star to be a part of LeBron James and Anthony Davis subsequent season, in accordance to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha.
Buha made the feedback in a recent Q&A video. Here’s all the pieces he had to say:

Trae Young’s identify has been linked to the Lakers for a while now. ESPN reported in January that LA had mentioned buying and selling for Young in trade for 3 draft picks. Then in February, Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer confirmed that the Lakers had curiosity in Young.
Rumors of Young becoming a member of the Lakers have existed since 2020, when he signed with Klutch Sports, the identical company that represents LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
