The Newport Beach Police Department has opened an investigation into on-line claims that Josh Giddey had an inappropriate relationship with a minor, according to TMZ Sports.
It comes after nameless X accounts accused Giddey of getting an intimate relationship with a minor.
The posts included photographs and movies of Giddey with an alleged underage woman, which rapidly unfold on-line.
The NBA can be conducting its personal investigation into the matter, in line with league spokesman Mike Bass.
So far, Giddey has declined to talk on the matter, as has Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault.
“I’m not gonna comment on anything as it relates to Josh off the court,” Daigneault stated on Tuesday.
