Oklahoma City Thunder level guard Josh Giddey mentioned rookie Jaylin Williams’ improvement after final evening’s 128-120 dwelling loss vs. the Golden State Warriors (averaging 10.0 PPG/7.0 RPG/2.5 APG/57.1% FG/80.0% 3-PT in final two video games).

(through Bally Sports Southwest):

“He’s been great, been great. Starting to shoot the ball well, shoot it with confidence. We tell him, ‘If they leave you open, make them pay.’ He’s been doing that, so he’s been really good on that end. Offensively, when he gets in the high post, he’s a really good passer. I think that’s a really underrated part of his game, he gets guys over and makes guys better. Defensively, obviously an elite charge taker. He’s a great rim protector in that sense, not blocking shots, but taking charges, putting his body on the line. So he’s been awesome for us, plays the role he’s asked, and guys love to play with him.”
