Donte DiVincenzo has declined his player option for the 2023-24 season and can take a look at free company. Several groups have an interest within the 26-year-old taking pictures guard with the Knicks being the favorite to land him, per Ian Begley.
Josh Hart opting into his contract for subsequent season gave New York some monetary flexibility which supplies New York a greater likelihood at signing DiVincenzo.
“[The Knicks] have their eye on Donte DiVincenzo going into free agency,” Begley stated. “They will have competition for DiVincenzo from teams like the Bulls, Timberwolves and Pistons. But if they can offer the money that let’s say the Bulls and T-Wolves can and that exception and everything’s equal, I think DiVincenzo chooses New York.
“Hart opting into his contract gives next year gives the Knicks some financial flexibility and the ability to make Donte DiVincenzo a competitive offer in free agency.”
This previous season DiVincenzo averaged 9.4 factors, 4.5 rebounds and three.5 assists in 26.3 minutes per sport for the Warriors.
