LaMelo Ball rolls, reinjures left ankle; exits Hornets’ eventual defeat vs Pacers

Charlotte Hornets star guard LaMelo Ball has reinjured his left ankle on the workforce’s 125-113 loss towards the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

Ball rolled his ankle after a steal try, by accident stepping on the foot of a fan courtside. He was aided to be carried off the court docket and finally exited the match prematurely.

The All-Star level man ended the night with 26 factors (10-for-17 capturing), six assists and two steals. His standing is but to be revealed, although it’s protected to imagine that he’ll miss loads of time.

Ball was absent on the Hornets’ 13 video games to begin the season attributable to a sprained left ankle. In three video games he appeared for the membership, he’s averaging 19.3 factors, 7.0 assists, 3.7 boards in 32.7 minutes. 

Following the defeat, the Hornets now dropped to 4-12, 14th-ranked file within the Eastern Conference ladder.
