Lance Stroll issued with FIA warning following incident at Qatar Grand Prix

Just days after the Qatar Grand Prix, the FIA has confirmed that Lance Stroll has been issued with a proper warning for his actions throughout his storage strop at Formula 1’s 2023 Qatar Grand Prix.

Stroll did not progress into the second qualifying session in final Friday’s principal qualifying session. After climbing out of his automobile, the Canadian driver barged his coach, Henry Howe in his group storage. He then delivered a six-word awkward TV interview, refusing to present actual solutions to the three questions that he obtained from the reporter.

Following the Qatar Grand Prix, the FIA opened an investigation into Stroll’s conduct and issued the Aston Martin racer with a proper warning for his actions.

The FIA’s assertion learn: “We can verify that the FIA Compliance Officer has obtained an apology from Lance Stroll concerning his actions through the 2023 FIA Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix.

“The Compliance Officer has famous this apology and issued a written warning, reminding Lance of his tasks as a competitor sure by the FIA Code of Ethics and different FIA moral and conduct tips set forth by the sporting laws.

“The FIA maintains a zero-tolerance stance against misconduct and condemns any actions that may lead to physical harassment.”
