Libbok was amongst a handful of gamers making a well timed return to the Stormers combine, together with fellow Springbok Damian Willemse and free ahead Hacjivah Dayimani.

“Playing against Zebre was crucial for me,” Libbok mentioned. “The intensity of the game and the quality of the Zebre team made it an ideal match to get back into the rhythm of 80 minutes of rugby.”

The match towards Zebre introduced Libbok with a possibility to reunite with Willemse and Warrick Gelant, forming the trio that helped the Stormers win the URC in 2022.

“It’s been a great experience teaming up with them again,” Libbok mentioned. “They’re exceptional players, and I’m confident our attacking chemistry will develop through our hard work. We’re putting in the effort during the week, and I’m confident it will pay off on the field.”

“It’s one of the biggest competitions in the world and a great opportunity to play against the best in the world.”
