Marcus Rashford has ‘taken responsibility’ after ‘disciplinary matter’

Manchester United mentioned Marcus Rashford had “taken responsibility for his actions” after he was reportedly seen in a Belfast evening spot final week and later reported himself in poor health.

The membership confirmed on Monday that it handled a “disciplinary matter” concerning the England striker.

Rashford was overlooked of his staff’s 4-2 win towards Newport within the FA Cup on Sunday, with United saying he was too in poor health to participate.

Afterward, supervisor Erik ten Hag mentioned he would take care of the ahead following his reported actions within the week main as much as the match.

“Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions,” United mentioned Monday. “This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.” It didn’t say if he had been fined.

Rashford will probably be out there for choice when United performs Wolves within the English Premier League on Thursday.

Earlier this season, ten Hag mentioned it was unacceptable that Rashford took half in birthday celebrations after United misplaced a match towards Manchester City.

“I am aware of it and I spoke with him about it,” he mentioned in November. “It is unacceptable. I told him. He apologized and that is it.”
