Max Verstappen threatens to quit F1

Two-time Formula One champion Max Verstappen has threatened to quit the game over dash races.

The 26-year-old Dutchman mentioned he wasn’t a fan of modifications made to upcoming races which options spring races.

The shortened-race format was again in 2021 and has introduced a lot of pleasure from followers who now get to see racing twice a weekend in some circuits.

Verstappen aggravated by modifications made to the spring races

The first of the season takes place in Azerbaijan this coming weekend however Verstappen is just not a fan of the brand new modifications.

Normally, Friday qualifying determines the grid for Saturday’s spring race whereas the race itself establishes the order for Sunday’s Grand Prix.

Changes are set to be made which can see Friday’s qualifying beginning order for Sunday’s predominant occasion whereas Saturday will likely be reserved for spring qualifiers and race solely,

 “I think that’s way better for the excitement. I naturally, of course, hope that there won’t be too many changes – otherwise I won’t be around for too long,” Verstappen mentioned after the Australian Grand Prix.

The change in format will likely be launched on the subsequent spherical in Baku

 “I’m just not a big fan of it, because I feel like we don’t really race. Okay, there are a few points to get, but you also know that you can’t really risk it because the main race is where you really get the points.”

Verstappen at the moment leads the motive force’s standing by 15 factors after three races to date this season.
