Mitch Marsh insists Dewald Brevis selection is exciting for cricket

Australia’s T20 skipper for the sequence towards the Proteas Mitch Marsh has lauded the choice to select Dewald Brevis for the sequence.

Brevis is in a Proteas squad for the primary time as they put together to face Australia in three T20Is.

He can even have a shot on the Aussies within the ODIs and with that an opportunity to interrupt into the Cricket World Cup squad.

“How old is he now? Twenty?” Marsh stated of Brevis forward of the sequence. 

“I believe anytime you get a 20-year-old child debuting for their nation it’s at all times exciting for worldwide cricket.

“Hopefully it’s the start of a great career for him.”

Brevis has reminiscences of watching Australia battle South Africa at Kingsmead and now will get his shot at dealing with the fierce rivals of the Proteas in Durban.

“I am so excited. It’s going to be proper heat and lots of fighting, and I can’t wait for that. I can’t wait to go there and run straight into them. They are one of the top cricketing nations,” Brevis instructed reporters.

Brevis has been well-prepared for elite cricket and is effectively conscious that there shall be few low-pressure conditions that cross his path whereas within the inexperienced and gold.

“I know there will always be expectations,” he stated. 

“Pressure is always there; I feel the pressure, but I like it. I just want people to get to know me as Dewald Brevis and just see how I go about my things.”
