Msimango praises ‘fantastic welcome’ at massive Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs new defender Given Msimango says the great welcome he has acquired at the Soweto membership is essential to assist him settle and adapt faster to life at Naturena.

Describing Chiefs as a ‘massive club’, Msimango says he has been having fun with bonding together with his new teammates at the staff’s camp in Mpumalanga. 

The 23-year-old centre again is among the seven new Chiefs signings that had been launched two weeks in the past because the membership appears to reignite itself. 

He was launched alongside fellow centre again Thatayaone Dithlokwe, striker Ranga Chivaviro, midfielders Mduduzi Mdantsane, Pule Mmodi and Edson Castillo. 

Another midfielder Tebogo Potsane was launched final weekend. The staff are reportedly nonetheless trying to usher in one or two strikers.

Msimango had spent the previous two seasons at TS Galaxy the place he was captain and an important member of coach Sead Ramovic’s staff.

“Being in pre-season with the club has been nothing but fantastic,” says Msimango in a video posted by the membership on their YouTube channel. 

“The guys have welcomed me with open arms. The administration have been heat to me as nicely.

“And I think that is very important for a player to feel welcome into the space and feel wanted so you can perform at your utmost best and settle in quicker.” 

Msimango focuses on efficiency

Msimango, who hails from Brakpan within the east of Johannesburg, says settling in faster means he can focus extra on his performances.  

“This is a massive club so it is very important that you adapt so that you can start performing at the best of your abilities.” 

Msimango’s teammate and Chiefs ahead Sabelo Radebe in the meantime says the pre-season camp is all about getting the physique and thoughts prepared for the brand new season.

“Pre-season is about preparation. You know as a participant it’s a must to put together your self earlier than you go to do one thing. 

“So, basically in the pre-season (camp) we prepare our bodies… We prepare mentally and condition ourselves to be ready,” stated Radebe. 

Chiefs, who promoted Molefi Ntseki to the top coach place with Arthur Zwane going again to be assistant, have a massive season forward.
