NBA Closes Investigation Into Josh Giddey: Report

The NBA’s investigation into OKC guard Josh Giddey over an alleged relationship with a minor has been closed, ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski reviews.

“Newport Beach (Calif.) police announced in January that they had been “unable to corroborate any criminal activity” by Giddey and wouldn’t pursue costs,” Woj said.

“The NBA came to a similar conclusion and closed its investigation, sources told Wojnarowski.”

In November of final 12 months, images and movies of Giddey with a lady who was a junior in highschool on the time appeared on social media.

At the time, NBA commissioner Adam Silver mentioned the league would “take a back seat” due to the criminal investigation and Giddey wouldn’t be suspended on simply allegations alone.

After the Thunder have been eradicated by the Mavs within the Conference semi-finals, Giddey bought emotional when describing his season and admitted that there have been “days where you don’t feel like getting out of bed.”
