No second place finish for Mercedes without Hamilton and Russell – Croft

Formula One commentator David Croft says without Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, Mercedes wouldn’t have been capable of take second place within the Constructors’ title.

The Brackley-based crew edged out Ferrarri to safe second place behind Red Bull Racing final season.

“He(Wolff) has signed both of his drivers up to new contracts, which I think was a massive plus point this year for Mercedes. They finished second, but without that driver combination, would they have finished second? No, I don’t think so,”mentioned Croft.
