Teenage British driver Oliver Bearman will compete for the Haas workforce in Formula One subsequent season, the US workforce announced on Thursday.
The 19-year-old, who made a powerful F1 debut by ending seventh for Ferrari on the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this yr, has signed a “multi-year” contract.
Bearman is at the moment a member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy and a reserve driver for Ferrari whereas contesting the Formula 2 Championship for Prema Racing.

Fourth Briton
In the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in March, Bearman deputised for Carlos Sainz after the Spaniard was identified with appendicitis.
