“We are in talks with Pirates over a new deal. There is still time because the current deal expires in June,” stated Mkhize.

“We can’t just jump on to another team because Pirates have been good to him, and they see him as an important player to them,” he continued.

“Everything will depend upon how the negotiations finish. We are in superior talks, and this stuff don’t simply take a day as a result of there’s only a lot to agree on.

“It is his future, and he’s not getting any youthful. So, he should get a deal that’s in line with that.

“Ben isn’t taking it badly that he’s now not beginning matches. He understands that competitors for locations is tight, particularly as a result of extra gamers have come in because the new coach has joined Pirates.
