Pirates star Lorch set to miss Nedbank Cup final?

Thembinkosi Lorch’s damage would possibly see him miss the remainder of the season, a supply at Orlando Pirates has revealed.

Lorch has missed Pirates’ final three video games and he was a noticeable absentee within the Soweto derby final weekend when Bucs booked their spot within the ultimate of the Nedbank Cup after beating Kaizer Chiefs.

The influential attacker apparently bought injured whereas at coaching just a few weeks in the past, and it was thought to be one thing minor.

But, having struggled rather a lot with accidents this season, an insider within the Bucs camp believes Lorch’s damage is severe and he has to be out of motion for a while.

“Nyoso (Lorch) has been struggling with injuries since the start of the season. He missed a lot of games in the first round. He came back, did well for the club and we were all happy to see him returning to the team because when he is not there you can see it. The fans see it, even our opponents are able to see it,” stated the supply.

“He is just unlucky with injuries this season and it seems like he is going to be out for some time. I don’t think he will be able to play the remaining games. But coach Jose Riveiro has a back-up plan, he knows how to use his players. If Lorch is not there, there is always someone else who can do the job.”
