Pogacar back on the road after wrist fracture

Tadej Pogacar is preparing for the 2023 Tour de France after his crash in Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the place he broke his wrist.

“My form is less bad than I thought,” mentioned the two-time Tour winner. “We work hard in the Sierra Nevada and work a lot of hours.”

“It is hard work. The training camp is over on June 11th and I will explore a number of Tour stages. Then there will be a training camp in Sestriere.”

“Hopefully I can still ride the Slovenian championships, where I hope to participate in both the time trial and the road race. I now mainly do long endurance training, because the last few weeks I could only train on the rollers and I ran.”

Next Monday he will probably be back in hospital to see how properly his damaged wrist is therapeutic. The Slovenian shouldn’t be anxious, regardless of the indisputable fact that it is just lower than one month till the Tour.
