Red Bull launch investigation after allegations of inappropriate behaviour

Red Bull Formula One staff boss Christian Horner is under investigation following an accusation of “inappropriate behaviour”.

It is known the allegation was made by one other member of employees for the British-based staff, which final yr carried Max Verstappen to his third consecutive world championship.

Horner, 50, who has been Red Bull staff principal since 2005, strongly rejects the accusation.

“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” Red Bull, the Austrian power drinks agency which owns the F1 staff, stated in a press release.

“This course of, which is already below means, is being carried out by an exterior specialist barrister.

“The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”

Christian Horner has overseen seven drivers’ world championships and 6 constructors’ titles.

Red Bull gained 21 of the 22 races staged final yr, with Verstappen setting a file of 10 consecutive victories as he cruised to his third straight title.
