Reminder, Quinton de Kock is now only a T20 player

“Quinton de Kock has been a really good servant to South African cricket,” stated CSA director of cricket Enoch Nkwe.

After confirming he can be retiring from Test cricket in 2021, De Kock cited his intentions to spend extra time together with his rising household for the timing and motive for his comparatively early retirement from the format.

HIS TEST RETIREMENT STATEMENT READ AS FOLLOWS:

“This is not a determination that I’ve come to very simply. My household is every part to me and I need to have the time and area to have the ability to be with them throughout this new and thrilling chapter of our lives.

I really like Test cricket and I really like representing my nation and all that it comes with. I’ve loved the ups and the downs, the celebrations and even the disappointments, however now I’ve discovered one thing that I really like much more.
