AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo has been ruled out of the Dutch Grand Prix due to a damaged hand he sustained throughout Friday follow.
The 34-year-old Australian crashed into the boundaries throughout FP2, after shedding management of his automotive. According to Formula One, Red Bull reserve driver Liam Lawson will his F1 debut with AlphaTauri.
Ricciardo adopted Oscar Piastri – the man who changed him at McLaren for the 2023 season – into the boundaries at Zandvoort’s Turn 3 in the early levels of FP2, placing him out of the session on the spot. The former Red Bull driver was instantly taken to the medical centre after the crash and upon evaluation, Ricciardo was then taken to an area hospital.
