Rohan Dennis left out of Jumbo-Visma team for Romandie

Rohan Dennis won’t be half of the Jumbo-Visma team for the Tour de Romandie and has been changed by Lennard Hofstede.

“Unfortunately I won’t be signing on at Romandie this year,” Dennis writes on social media. “I woke up sick yesterday, the team and I have agreed that it’s better to rest and recover for the next races and goals.”

Nothing has modified in the remaining of the Jumbo-Visma choice. The Dutch WorldTeam brings – along with Hofstede – Robert Gesink, Steven Kruijswijk, Jos van Emden, Gijs Leemreize, Thomas Gloag and Tobias Foss to the beginning.

Gloag beforehand expressed his expectations concerning the Tour de Romandie.

“There is one real mountain stage and I am curious how far I can get,” mentioned the 21-year-old Briton.

“I have also been working hard on my time trial. I will have to put in a lot more effort in the future, but I am excited about the two time trials in this race.”
