SPRINGBOKS OUT TO RIGHT SOME WRONGS AGAINST LOS PUMAS

Nienaber was adamant that the Springboks had been aligned and refocussed in anticipation of their closing Rugby Championship Test in opposition to Argentina at Ellis Park on Saturday, 29 July; following an intensive debrief of the match in opposition to the All Blacks and a handful of coaching periods in Pretoria within the final two days.

“The last two days were very important in the sense that we had a chance to do an honest assessment about what went wrong against New Zealand and to identify what we need to correct in our game going into our final match of the competition and the World Cup warm-up games,” the Springboks coach mentioned.

“We were bitterly disappointed with last week’s performance, and we are well aware of the fact that we can’t make the same errors if we want to get our season back on track and build momentum.”

With the Springboks’ debrief in opposition to New Zealand now concluded, in addition to 4 coaching periods and some fitness center periods within the bag, Nienaber was assured that his workforce had discovered options to their issues which had been uncovered in opposition to the Kiwis.

“We’ve executed all the pieces we may to search out options to the errors we made final week, and we’ve already began engaged on it at our subject periods, so we will now put that behind us and transfer ahead.

“When we reassemble on Sunday our focus will be purely on Argentina, so we’ll hit the ground running again from Monday.”
