Stellenbosch FC have introduced the departure of captain Rafiq De Goede, who is ready to hitch one other DStv Premiership facet.

The Mother City-based outfit made the announcement on Thursday.
In De Goede’s departure, Stellenbosch are dropping one other key member of their squad, with coach Steve Barker having needed to rebuild the staff following the exits of Zitha Kwinika, Ashley du Preez, Stanley Digmba, Nathan Sinkala and Judas Moseamedi, who left the membership not too long ago.
The defender is one of the longest serving members at the membership, having been with the staff since 2014 and was half of the squad that received promotion to the South African top-tier after being topped the National First Division champions again in 2018/19 season.
Stellenbosch revealed that they received a suggestion for the 29-year-old defender from one other membership and after talks with the participant and his representatives, they agreed on the deal.
“The club can confirm that after consultation with Rafiq De Goede and his representatives we have accepted a transfer offer from a PSL Club. Rafiq was one of the longest serving players at the club and has always been exemplary on and off the field. We sincerely thank Rafiq,” wrote the membership on their Twitter deal with.
De Goede is anticipated to hitch Maritzburg United as in response to a quantity of stories, the defender have been underneath the Team of Choice’s radar for a while and they’re excited to have him transfer to KwaZulu-Natal.
