Steph Curry Responds to Draymond Green Ejection

Steph Curry has opened up about Draymond Green getting ejected lower than 4 minutes into the Warriors’ matchup with the Magic on Wednesday.

Golden State went on to beat Orlando 101-93, however Curry was visibly upset with Green getting himself kicked out of the sport after arguing with the referees.

“All I’ll say is we need him,” Curry said postgame. “He is aware of that, everyone knows that. So no matter it takes to maintain him on the ground, him be out there.

“That’s what’s gotta happen, especially at this point of the year. Tough way to start the game…”

When requested about his frustration with the incident, Curry burdened the significance of avoiding “self-inflicted wounds” at such a crucial level of the season.

“We know how important the season is, or this part of the season, and our ability to get into a rhythm and secure a play-in opportunity and give ourselves a shot,” Curry mentioned. “You don’t want to have self-inflicted wounds when it comes to that.”

Golden State is below immense stress to win video games, with the surging Houston Rockets now a really actual menace to take their play-in spot. The Rockets have received ten consecutive video games regardless of being with out Alperen Şengün, and sit only one sport behind the Tenth-placed Warriors.

The Warriors’ subsequent sport is towards the Hornets, whereas the Rockets will face the Jazz. Both video games are scheduled for Friday.
