Swallows unable to fulfill fixtures, face fine, expulsion

Moroka Swallows have revealed that they can not fulfill their remaining two DStv Premiership fixtures this 12 months due to a pay dispute between gamers and administration.

A statement from Swallows stated: “On behalf of Moroka Swallows FC, an apology is prolonged to all affected events due to the cancellation of the next video games towards Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Goldern Arrows FC.

“Due to an unresolved dispute between gamers and administration; that has resulted in administration having to request cancellation of the 2 remaining video games of this 12 months from the PSL, to permit it time to appropriate the scenario.

“Management would like to assure everyone within and outside the club that the process of finding one another will soon be found. It has been resolved that no further details will be officially given until an update from the club is issued.”

“The league extends its sincere apologies to all stakeholders, including clubs, partners, media and spectators, for this unfortunate situation.”
