Jason Tesson outsprinted Corbin Strong and Elia Viviani to win the second stage of Route d’Occitanie.
Marijn van den Berg (EF Education-EasyPost) completed thirteenth on the stage to retain the general lead, 4 seconds forward of Strong.
“I learned just after the finish, and it’s sad because, we ride bikes, we do our passion, it’s our job and even if I didn’t know him personally, it’s scary,” stated Tesson.
