The presumptive top-two picks within the 2023 NBA Draft – Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson – showcased their expertise in an exhibition sport on Tuesday evening, representing the Metropolitans 92 workforce and the G League Ignite respectively.
“He [Wembanyama] was amazing,” Metropolitans 92 coach Vincent Collet mentioned after the sport, by way of ESPN.
“What he can do with his size, his agility, mobility, not only his ability to shoot the 3, moving very well. He even made a couple of very good passes. I think he [had] a real good game but he also will learn from the first half. He has to fight more because he knows to expect that kind of aggressive defense.”
Wembanyama, who’s listed at 7-5, completed the sport with 37 factors and 5 blocks on 11-20 taking pictures from the sphere and 7-11 taking pictures from three.

Henderson wowed scouts too, scoring 28 factors to associate with 5 rebounds and 9 assists.

The G League Ignite pulled out the win 122-115; however the Metropolitans 92 could have an opportunity to even the rating on Thursday in a much-anticipated rematch.
